| Googleスマホ・タブレット「Pixel」シリーズに2025年10月分のソフトウェア更新を提供開始！ |
Googleは6日（現地時間）、スマートフォン（スマホ）など向けプラットフォーム「Android」における月次セキュリティーパッチの2025年10月分を告示しています。また同社は9日（現地時間）、これらのセキュリティーパッチを含むソフトウェア更新を「Made by Google」として「Pixel」ブランドのスマホやタブレットにおいて2025年10月分のソフトウェア更新を現地時間の2025年10月9日（木）より提供開始したとお知らせしています。
ソフトウェア更新は来週にかけて順次提供され、ネットワーク経由によるアップデート（OTA）が配信開始されているほか、ファクトリーイメージも公開されており、対象となるタブレット「Pixel Tablet」やスマホ「Pixel 10」および「Pixel 10 Pro」、「Pixel 10 Pro XL」、「Pixel 9a」、「Pixel 9」、「Pixel 9 Pro」、「Pixel 9 Pro XL」、「Pixel 9 Pro Fold」、「Pixel Fold」、「Pixel 8a」、「Pixel 8」、「Pixel 8 Pro」、「Pixel 7a」、「Pixel 7」、「Pixel 7 Pro」、「Pixel 6a」、「Pixel 6」、「Pixel 6 Pro」では無料で実施できます。
更新後のビルド番号は日本向けのPixel 9aおよびPixel 10シリーズがブランチしており、日本向けのPixel 9aが「BP3A.251005.004.A2」、Pixel 10シリーズが「BD3A.251005.003.J5」、それ以外の国・地域のPixel 9aが「BP3A.251005.004.B1」、Pixel 10シリーズが「BD3A.251005.003.W3」、その他の機種では日本を含むグローバルにてPixel Tabletが「BP3A.251005.004.A2」、それ以外の機種が「BP3A.251005.004.B1」となっています。
なお、このソフトウェア更新にはセキュリティーパッチのほか、いくつかの機能改善と不具合修正が実施されており、対象の全機種にて特定の状況下でカメラを起動した後も半透明の背景が残る問題やメディア出力スイッチャーを使用してキャストを開始または停止するとシステムUIがクラッシュする問題を修正しているほか、Pixel 10シリーズにおいて特定の状況下で画面がフリーズしたりぼやけたりする問題を修正するなどしているということです。
Pixelシリーズにはセキュリティーパッチや不具合を修正するソフトウェア更新が毎月提供されており、2025年10月分のセキュリティーパッチはCVEに登録されている脆弱性はAndroidやPixel、Android Automotive OS、Wear OSではなく、Pixel WatchではModerateが1つで、Qualcomm componentsにおける「CVE-2025-27033」のみとなっています。

- Fix for screen flickering and sudden shutdown issues under certain conditions*[2]
- Fix for issue occasionally causing frozen or fuzzy display under certain conditions*[5]

- Fix for issue occasionally causing system instability under certain conditions*[3]
User Interface
- Fix for an issue where a semi-transparent background would persist after the camera was launched under certain conditions*[1]
- Fix for issue where the flashlight status does not appear on the At a Glance widget in certain conditions*[4]
- Fix for System UI crash when starting or stopping casting with the Media Output Switcher in certain conditions*[1]
