Googleスマホ・タブレット「Pixel」シリーズに2026年7月分のソフトウェア更新を提供開始！
Googleは6日（現地時間）、スマートフォン（スマホ）やタブレットなど向けプラットフォーム「Android」における月次セキュリティーパッチの2026年7月分を告示しています。また同社は7日（現地時間）、これらのセキュリティーパッチを含むソフトウェア更新を「Made by Google」として「Pixel」ブランドのスマホやタブレットにおいて2026年7月分のソフトウェア更新を2026年7月7日（火）より提供開始しており、来週にかけて順次提供されるとのこと。
ソフトウェア更新はネットワーク経由によるアップデート（OTA）が配信開始されているほか、ファクトリーイメージも公開されており、対象となるタブレット「Pixel Tablet」やスマホ「Pixel 10」および「Pixel 10 Pro」、「Pixel 10 Pro XL」、「Pixel 10 Pro Fold」、「Pixel 10a」、「Pixel 9」、「Pixel 9 Pro」、「Pixel 9 Pro XL」、「Pixel 9 Pro Fold」、「Pixel 9a」、「Pixel Fold」、「Pixel 8a」、「Pixel 8」、「Pixel 8 Pro」、「Pixel 7a」、「Pixel 7」、「Pixel 7 Pro」、「Pixel 6a」、「Pixel 6」、「Pixel 6 Pro」では無料でアップデートを実施できます。
更新後のビルド番号はAU向けPixel 6シリーズとRoger向けPixel 9シリーズおよびPixel 10シリーズがブランチしており、それぞれ「CP2A.260705.006.A1」となっており、それ以外の日本を含むグローバルではすべての対象機種で共通して「CP2A.260705.006」とのこと。なお、このソフトウェア更新にはセキュリティーパッチのほか、Pixelスマホ・タブレットのソフトウェア更新には複数の不具合修正や機能改善が含まれており、すべての対象機種にて特定のアプリが予期せず終了したり、起動に失敗したりする問題などを修正したということです。
Pixelシリーズにはセキュリティーパッチや不具合を修正するソフトウェア更新が毎月提供されており、2026月7月分はAndroidおよびPixel、Android Automotive OS、Android XR、Wear OSのページが公開されていますが、セキュリティーパッチはCVEに登録されている分では現時点ではありません。その他、セキュリティー更新以外のPixelシリーズにおける更新内容は以下の通り。
